We found this dog (with a bunch of his brothers and a sister ;) ) He’s 9 1/2 weeks old, 18 pounds 4 ounces – all Labrador retriever. Lots of people think he’s a dud, we think it’s all the inbreeding.

My new thermometer read a chilly -14.8 this morning at the house. This could be perhaps the lowest temperature I have seen since moving here in ’92. The negatives are generally reserved for December. The picture was taken around 8:30 AM in our very busy town of Mountainaire.

2006 Telluride Blues and Brews
Yet another Telluride Blues and Brews has come and gone. This year will go down as the year of the wacky weather. Not nearly as muddy as the infamous sandwich bag year, but definitely one of the coldest in recent memories. Flagstaff Brewing Company beer was well received, of course the IPA was the big hit.
